Thomas B. Wood
President

Mr. Wood is President and co-owner of EMG where he oversees the company's property management processes, personnel, and operations on a day-to-day basis. He leads the overall operations and is responsible for advancing the company's overall strategic initiatives. He directs the corporate marketing and research efforts. He also leads a dedicated team focused on expanding client services and new business development throughout the Intermountain West.

Mr. Wood has over 20 years of extensive multi-family property management experience including both conventional and affordable housing apartment projects with national firms including Insignia, Trammel Crow, Prowswood, and Boston Financial. Before joining EMG, Mr. Wood was the Vice President of property management for Horizon Management overseeing more than 5,000 apartment homes located throughout the West.

For the past eight years, Mr. Wood has been a member of the board of directors of the Utah Apartment Association and is currently serving as the President of the Association. He also serves as a regional delegate to the National Apartment Association where he is a Certified Instructor. He graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Arts degree. He lives in Kaysville, Utah with his wife and four sons.
